The mission of SABCA Foundation is to create awareness
about Breast Cancer in the South Asian and other communities and encourage them
to get an annual mammogram. To extend breast cancer awareness beyond the month
of October, SABCA Foundation Launched the ThinkPink365 campaign for continuous support the cause throughout the year. We have also
created a brochure that we will be distributing at various clinics and events
which highlights more information about Breast Cancer. This brochure is
initially available in English, but efforts are already in process to translate
it into Hindi, Punjabi, Gujarati and Urdu.
As one of our initiatives our goals is to raise funds and pay for annual mammograms for women (especially South Asian Women) that currently do not have health insurance or mammogram fees are not covered by their health care provider. To sign up please click here. Our initial focus is New York and Washington DC markets and grow into other areas in upcoming areas.
